How to ask
Folto AI is the AI built into the app. It reads your project’s files, draws on the board, edits files, and runs commands.
- Type what you want in the field in the right panel
- Press ↩ to send (⇧↩ for a new line)
The chip above the field shows which board it will draw on.
Ask about a selection
Section titled “Ask about a selection”Select items on the board and press ⌘I to open a field right there. Ask about what you selected: “summarize these sticky notes,” “turn this into a flowchart.”
Asking well
Section titled “Asking well”- Say what to make: “Draw the sign-in flow as a flowchart”
- Say where to look: “Only look at
Sources/Auth” - Say the shape: “One lane per owner”

When it asks you something
Section titled “When it asks you something”If Folto AI needs to check something, it asks with option cards. Pick a card or type your answer.
Sessions
Section titled “Sessions”One conversation is a session. Start a new one with + at the top of the right panel. Reopen earlier ones from All Sessions. How many sessions can run at once depends on your plan. Plans
