Board basics
A board is an infinite canvas. Place sticky notes and shapes, connect them, and group them in frames to organize your thinking. A project can have any number of boards, and they save automatically.
Pick a tool
Section titled “Pick a tool”Choose from the toolbar at the bottom of the board. While the board is focused, a single key picks a tool.

Place and write
Section titled “Place and write”- Pick a tool and click the board to place an item. Drag to set its size as you place it
- Double-click an item to write in it
- ⇧⌘N also adds a sticky note
Select and move
Section titled “Select and move”- Click to select. ⇧-click adds to the selection
- Drag from an empty spot to select everything inside the box
- Drag a selection to move it. Drag a corner or edge to resize
- ⌥ + arrow keys move the selection to the next item in that direction (for keyboard-only use)
- Duplicate with ⌘D. Change text size with ⇧⌘. (larger) and ⇧⌘, (smaller)

Select items and press ⇧⌘L to pin them so they can’t be moved or deleted by accident. Folto AI never changes pinned items.
Delete and undo
Section titled “Delete and undo”- Select and press ⌫ to delete
- Undo with ⌘Z, redo with ⇧⌘Z. Changes made by AI undo the same way
